A short history of etech
Tom Brandt, a veteran of the high-tech industry with a reputation
for technical expertise
and talent for marketing conferences and events, founded etech
in 1996. Initially,
the company specialized in providing temporary Internet services—installing
ISDN and T1 lines at event venues. Satisfied clients learned
that Tom and the etech team had
considerable experience and success in planning, setting up,
and running equipment
for events. They began asking us to provide additional equipment—at
first computers
as the natural complement to Internet connections, then they
needed audio visual equipment as well.
In short time, etech became a provider for
high profile events such as the AOL 30 Cities
in 30 Days Tour, the Intel Music Festival, and Easter at the
White House. The company
grew and evolved into a full service audio visual firm by creating
strong partnerships
with clients nationwide. Today, etech is a
major national audio visual service
provider. Our wide-ranging capabilities and personal service
have attracted clients
worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies, who consistently
engage etech to
maximize the success of their events.
